5 months ago today, we rescued Choriza from the streets of Moscow. The 3-3-3 rule is real, and the patience is SO worth it!

​Exactly 5 months ago today, we brought Choriza home. She was a rescue from the streets of Moscow, and honestly, those first few weeks required a lot of adjustment.

​I just wanted to make this post to share that the 3-3-3 rule absolutely exists. If any of you are currently thinking about getting a dog, please remember that adoption is such a beautiful option. Giving a second chance to a living being just takes a little bit of patience, dedication, and time to let them settle.

​As you can see in the before and after photos, love really does change them... and maybe makes them a little bit fatty too, hahaha! 🐶❤️

​To anyone in the thick of the early rescue days right now: hang in there. It gets so much better.
