My dog before and after being told she’s good

This is my poodle Jane Austen, Austen for short. She is 8 years old and very friendly to people but she only recently started playing with other dogs, as I just moved to a city and can take her to parks now. Other dogs are confusing for her but she learns more every day. This is her feeling overwhelmed in the store before and after I told her she was a good girl. Sometimes she just needs reassurance.
