Benito aka Benito Box aka Big Boi Benny

My wife and I adopted Benito recently and let me say this pup has really changed and enriched our lives in so many ways. After our dog passed in early February I didn't really know how to handle it. I went through all the stages of grief. Hard. Rusty was my first dog and me and wife adopted him together so he was a cornerstone of our relationship. But then when Benito showed up on a local rescue Facebook page on a Monday morning it felt like our angel boy, Rusty, was pointing him out to me because he knew we needed another companion and Benito needed a good home. His size intimidates people but once they see his eyes everyone's hearts turn to mush. Even my mom, who is not a dog person, regularly asks for picture updates lol
