LEAVE IT. One of the most valuable things to teach your dog… Within seconds of an emergency, I was able to call 2 dogs off an active chase of a bunny!

Happy to report the bunny is completely unharmed and undeterred. After I brought the dogs inside, bunny was still in my yard having returned to regular activity of collecting twigs, digging and munching grass.

Never had an emergency like this before. You never really want to “test” if you can call your dogs off — it would be cruel.

But an emergency happened and I was very quickly able to call them both off an active chase, into a sit and then into a down, and then we went inside.
