A few of the street dogs I saw while in Istanbul over the past few weeks.

There are many street dogs in Istanbul (but not nearly as many as the street cats). Most seem to be in good health, and the residents put food and water out for them. I was told they are protected by law and they are vaccinated to keep them healthy.
