Missing my dog

Had to rehome my beloved dog to friend from work after having troubles finding a rental that allowed pets after my mum had to leave my step dad due to DV. I really can’t stop thinking about her after months and everytime I see pictures and hear of how she is going my heart hurts so badly and I feel so sad. This is kind of a downer post but I just need to vent as it is a touchy subject for my mum and I have no one else to tell.
