Lost two girls within a week..

About a year ago, we lost two precious girls within a week of each other.

My golden randomly started being sensitive around her neck and it turned out being tumors in her lymph nodes or something along those lines. Spent several thousands to try to give her a chance and nothing could save her 🥲

Gave her as many pool days as possible since she loved the water and when she was young I’d always take her out to the lakes to go for swims. Once she started stumbling just to get around the house I knew it was over.

At the same time, one of our GSD’s who had a few surgery’s for hip dysplasia passed a week later. She pushed through and had a good quality of life until one day she just couldn’t walk anymore. She basically acted as a living alarm clock since she would stand at the door waiting to be let out at 5 on the dot. Outside of that, she LOVED paddle boarding and golf cart rides. Oh and stealing her GSD sisters dinner.. she’d never eat out of her own bowl and had to steal it from our third girl (the youngest and last). So much for service dog..
