“Snuggle behavior”

So me and my girl of many years got our pup together about 7 years ago. Our pup snuggles her by wrapping around her head and snuggles me like she’s my “side-chick”. I was curious if this was some kind of comfort/favoritism thing or what.

As much as I’d love a head pillow I’m just curious as to why she does this?
