1st pic is immediately after bite, 2nd is next day, 3rd is today, & 4th is today after she scratched it back open.
I know I should have taken her in immediately, but if I’m being completely honest I cannot afford that unless it’s absolutely necessary. I don’t want to take her if I’m going to get told it’s fine + then slapped with a bill.
She got bit by another dog on Friday evening. Swelled up next day, & then now has just had this little bump. Well about 20 minutes ago she came back inside + the wound was opened up again so I’m assuming she scratched at it or bumped into something. Any vets on here think this is looking infected/needing immediate medical attention? I have about 50/50 responses from family/friends that have owned pets. I’ve owned many dogs, but this is my first puppy that has ever been bitten so I do not want to over react…but also don’t want to underreact. Help!!!
