If money could save her, she would keep going.

If money could save her, she would keep going.

I never wanted to post this.

I have to do it before it happens or I don't know if I'll have the strength.

I've been fighting for my dog's life since 12/23. she was diagnosed with a bladder infection and bladder stones. on 12/27 she needed a 10k emergency bladder surgery. her emergency surgery triggered ITP, immune mediated thrombocytopenia. her sister has the same disease and has responded to treatment well.

she has since been hospitalized twice, gone through a relapse, and racked up 30k in vet bills. we paid it and thought we could save her.

recently I noticed she'd go about a week and a half between vet visits before she had to go back for a same day appointment or see an emergency vet. she still eats and wags her tail, but she started having labored breathing, lethargy and weird positioning. her liver enzymes are elevated from the meds she's on and her urine concentration is low. she has a nodule on her liver and spleen that we never got the opportunity to test.

recently, I felt like she was asking for help every time she looked at me. I have scheduled her euthanasia for Friday.

that said, Jameson matters and I'm devastated. I thought I could throw my wallet at this and solve it for her and it's simply not the case.

she is my soul dog and I love her as much as my child. I will miss her so much.
