This is Opie.

Opie is the sweetest boy I know. I rescued him about 8 months ago after his owner died. Unfortunately, she was a hoarder of all things, but, mostly, animals. He lived in a small house that was described to me as having, in addition to Opie, 20 dogs, 30 birds, and an unknown number of cats. Up until I got him, he had only eaten cat food and they were unclear if he had ever been on a leash or outside. It took a lot of work and love, but he has opened up and is a completely different dog. He loves to play, he loves being petted and snuggled, and he always has a smile on his face (also, luckily and surprisingly, the vet gave him a clean bill of health).
