I hope youre enjoying heaven. I’m sorry that I failed you again.

Rushed him at the vet 4 days ago and he the vet told me that his spleen ruptured. He had splenectomy and unfortunately he didn’t make it.

I am beyond heartbroken that I can’t be with him. The vets refused to give me his remains because of unpaid bills. The thought of his lifeless body stored somewhere is making me feel like a horrible human being. I just wanted to hug him and I couldn’t even be there during his last moments.

I’ll miss this little goofball more than anything. I just hope that he didnt feel that he abandoned, I’m just waiting for a week to get my paycheck and I should be able to bid a proper goodbye. It sucks that they are allowed to hold his remains just because I couldn’t pay off the bill yet.
