| Long story short, I got diagnosed with ALS just over 2 years ago when I was 31. I always knew the day would come when my boy (Loki) would come to me for fuss and I wouldn't be able to move. Would he understand I still love him? Then came my wheelchair; he was terrified of it and wouldn't come near me, but my boy was brave and faced the scary monster, haha. Sadly, things have been progressing a lot faster than we feared. I can't move at all, but my boy protects me. He brings me his favourite toys to cheer me up. Give your boys and girls a cuddle while you can because they will love you to the very end. [link] [comments] |
