Lost my best friend today

I had to put my best bud to sleep today. He was battling DM for this last year and a half. We had him in hydro therapy, all sorts of supplements, got him a wheel chair but his quality of life deteriorated to the point where it just wasn’t fair to make him stay with us even though that’s what we wanted.
