| I had to say goodbye to my pup, Wendy, a 13-year-old, this afternoon. After a tooth extraction, she had adverse reactions to the medication and stopped eating. This, paired with the continued use of the meds (per my now ex-vet clinic), led to acute, rapid-onset renal failure. We spent the final hours of her life driving around town, listening to some good music, and taking in ALL of the smells. She ate a burger and fries and polished it all off with a chocolate shake. I couldn't have ever asked for a more amazing dog. She will forever be with me and forever be missed. Goodbye, Wendy. May you rest within the warmest of blankets, atop the softest pillows.
