Devastated but accepting 💔

My sweet Lucy girl (14.5yo) is crossing the rainbow bridge tomorrow. She has been my shadow since I was 20, and has been with me through the fun and tears. I've seen her through puppies she birthed in the rain in a flower pot when I let her out to potty, and she has seen me through the loss of both my parents. Idk how I am going to go to the bathroom alone or leave my coffee unattended and it still be there when I get back or use the laser pointer to play with the cats without her stress yapping at the laser.

I am deeply going to miss all her quirks and how excited she would get when we went for walks, even when she started to slow down and trail behind.

I'll miss you sweet baby goose.
