Goodbye my good friend

As a empty nester and single this has been the sweet face that I have have the privilege to come home to everyday. Today I had to say goodbye. I knew it was coming for about a week as she has been sick. couldn't watch her suffer any more even though she would have just to be with me. Rest easy my friend, I will miss your sweet face.
