RIP Maximus McMillan — Husky/SharPei/Shepard mix. Adopted May 5th, 2015 in Fort Wayne Indiana. Crossed the rainbow bridge this morning November 9th at 9 am in Indianapolis Indiana.

Max got really sick yesterday afternoon, quit eating. Wouldn’t drink. Couldn’t move or pick himself up or even go outside. I took him into the emergency vet this morning to find out he had cancer and had blood pooling around his heart. Broke my heart instantly.

I got Max on May 5th 2015. He was supposedly 2 years old at the time but I think he may have been more close to 1. He was an ornery little rascal. He loved to run loose and get away (typical Husky behavior). I used to run and ride him on my BMX with my daughter.

In 2022 we started traveling and we moved out to Las Vegas NV. He’s been everywhere from Detroit, Fort Wayne, Indy, Denver, the Rocky Mountains, Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Hollywood, Tucson, Coachella Valley, Albuquerque, Amarillo, OKC. This dog traveled more than most people do in their lifetime. He’s been on more of Route 66 than most people.

Max you will be missed very much! I hope I provided well for you and hope you and Woodward are back together. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND WILL NEVER FORGET YOU!!! ❤️ 🐕 🌈
