My heart is broken.

This is pal. He turned 12 in September. He’s been struggling with arthritis and other medical issues. This morning he fell and would not even try to get back up. Normally he tries…I guess he was hurting to the point he couldn’t. We have made the decision to have him put to sleep this coming Thursday or Friday. This is not what I want, but I know he’s in pain too often. I don’t know how I’m gonna carry on without him. He’s my shadow, and sleeps with me at night.
