Rocky lost his best friend this year… but he’s still protecting the house like he always did. ❤️🐾

This is Rocky. He’s 7, and this year he lost his lifelong best friend and roommate, Brandy, who made it to 15.

They used to stand at this window together every day, watching over the yard like a little security team. Ever since she passed, Rocky still goes to the same spot, same stance, same routine.

Sometimes it looks like he’s still leaving space for her.

I think Brandy would be proud of him. And I like to think she’s still right there with him… just in a different way now. ❤️
