I worked on The Snoopy Show and my boss has a giant Saint Bernard. Every time we saw him, he seemed to just get bigger and bigger. He was basically a bear by the time we finished production and we kept joking that he'd keep growing. My Neighbor Totoro is her favorite film from Studio Ghibli (Distributed by Disney) so I combined both concepts to make this little funny gift for her. She seemed to really like it.
