I miss my dog

It’s almost been a year since I left my country petitioned by my boyfriend. Back when we were in a long-distance relationship, I got my dog to keep me company - he became like my own child, along with my two cats. I’ve always said I wouldn’t have a child until I could bring him with me. My mom and sister take care of them now, and I send money for their food, vaccinations, and checkups. Honestly, I spend more on them than I do on myself. I resigned from fast food job to focus on the NCLEX exam, and I’m so happy to say I passed! Now I can’t wait to start saving up so I can bring my dog here to the U.S. with me. I just know he’d love the parks and clean sidewalks — back home he mostly stayed indoors because the streets were too dirty. 🥹 Wish me luck finding a job, cause I really am having a hard time applying since I cannot work as a nurse yet until I endorse my license here in our state.

I pray my dog lives longer. He is 6 years old now.
